So the first Spider-Man 3 trailer came out yesterday, and I gotta tell ya, it pretty much made me forget about ol’ Supes. I’ve always been more of a Marvel guy anyway.
Let’s take a closer look at some still close-ups, shall we?

Wait a minute, this is Sin City 2!

Love the feel of the Venom stuff… Goopy!

The Sandman looks great too!

Oh Harry… How could ya…

Nice image to end the trailer on.
Only 11 months to go! I suppose Superman will have to do in the meantime.

Yeah, I just saw the trailer on line and it looks cool. What's nice is the LACK of emphasis on fight scenes and focusing on Peter and all the characters we know from the series.
And some of the places looked familiar — then I found out that it was being filmed on 43rd St, near where my wife works — as well as at the Cobble Hill Movie Theatre (which will appear as the Stuyvesant in the movie), which is just a few blocks away. Wow!

That trailer is easily better than any of the movies that have come out so far this summer, though I won't see Superman Returns until tomorrow night … Spider-Man simply kicks major ass

I'm most curious to see how they get the Venomstory line to work. The original alien costume thing was a tad lame IMHO.
