OK, so my R2D2 LEGO Mosaic is all done! WOO!
Here's a pic of the finished product:

And here it is hanging on the wall:

The boy is thrilled! And I'm pretty pleased with it myself.
Now I have to think of one for the girl...

Above is a project I'm working on for the boy to hang in his room. It's a custom LEGO mosaic of R2D2.
When it's all done it'll measure about 23" tall and 15" wide and take 3456 1x1 LEGO plates, plus three larger baseplates.
I have to go order some more plates; more pics soon!
I don't know much about steampunk, and I don't know Björn Hurri from Adam, but I absolutely spent way too much time slack jawed at the art here.

OK, I’ve pretty much bought everything for the kids for Christmas, but I’m still looking for a few little things to round it all out.
In my shopping I’ve found some weird stuff:
Star Wars Galactic Figures Stocking Stuffers
“I find your lack of Christmas spirit disturbing.”
And this isn’t in itself an odd toy…
…but the Amazon seller struck me as odd…
Can’t read it? Here’s a close-up:
Just the thing for baby; a heavily armed hellspawn. Awww…
OK, back to work.
